This was design at the intersection of architecture, ornament, and theater. executed with documentation rigor closer to fine jewelry than to commercial interiors.

Restraint Inside Spectacle
The feature Atrium at Wynn Palace:

The challenge of a space like this is restraint inside spectacle, the room must be extraordinary in its own right, yet recede the moment a twenty-foot floral sculpture takes the floor. Every profile, finish, and sightline was designed to do both.
One Botanical Voice, Every Medium
Flowers are the connective tissue of every Wynn Property:
Appearing in carpet, mosaic, plaster, millwork, and living installations, the one continuous voice across hundreds of thousands of square feet. I was responsible for designing the floral motifs scattered throughout each resort: Original botanical patterns developed as ornament and translated across media, from hand-set glass mosaic floors to custom Axminster carpets to inlaid metalwork.
Each motif began as original artwork, then moved through fabrication documentation — tessellation maps for mosaic artisans, repeat and colorway specifications for carpet mills, and full-scale pattern drawings for review. The mosaics alone meant coordinating overseas fabricators hand-placing tesserae against curved, free-form boundaries set directly into stone flooring.

Arrival as a Salon, Not a Transaction
VIP & Resort Registration:
Registration at a Wynn property is not a transaction space — it is a salon. For the VIP and resort registration suites, we developed interiors built on a residential logic: a sculptural tufted centerpiece settee, gilded casework, cloud-form plaster ceilings, and a custom floral carpet carrying the property's botanical language underfoot.
Materials were specified to museum standard — verde marble reception counters, gold-leafed walls, cloisonné vessels, and silk drapery — with lighting designed to flatter both the room and the guest.
Right the First Time
These properties opened as benchmarks for the luxury gaming industry, with Wynn Palace Cotai and Encore Boston Harbor among the most expensive resort developments of their era. Hospitality as the signature guest experiences of each property, photographed millions of times a year and unchanged in their essentials. The truest measure of design. Done Right, The First Time.
